Asian Medicine -Tradition and Modernity is a multidisciplinary journal aimed at researchers and practitioners of Asian Medicine in Asia as well as in Western countries. It makes available in one single publication academic essays that explore the historical, anthropological, sociological and philological dimensions of Asian medicine as well as practice reports from clinicians based in Asia and in Western countries.

Asian Perspectivesis the leading archaeological journal devoted to the prehistory of Asia and the Pacific region. In addition to archaeology, it features articles and book reviews on ethnoarchaeology, palaeonanthropology, physical anthropology, and ethnography of interest and use to the prehistorian. International specialists contribute regional reports summarizing current research and fieldwork, and present topical reports of significant sites.

Asian Philosophy is an international journal concerned with such philosophical traditions as Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Buddhist and Islamic. The purpose of the journal is to bring these rich and varied traditions to a worldwide academic audience. It publishes articles in the central philosophical areas of metaphysics, philosophy of mind, epistemology, logic, moral and social philosophy, as well as in applied philosophical areas such as aesthetics and jurisprudence. It also publishes articles comparing Eastern and Western philosophical traditions. The international academic journal Asian Studies is an interdisciplinary journal devoted to the study of Asian societies and cultures. It publishes contributions that feature analyses and interpretations of different aspects and phenomena of the social realities in Asian (especially East Asian) societies, with a focus on their specific historical and cultural contexts, ranging across the fields of Asian literature, art, philosophy, history and sociology.

Asian Studies Review is multidisciplinary and welcomes contributions in the fields of anthropology, modern history, politics, international relations, sociology, modern Asian languages and literature, contemporary philosophy, religion, human geography, health sciences, and the environment. The journal focuses on the modern histories, cultures, and societies of Asia and welcomes submissions that adopt a contemporary approach to critical studies of the Asian region. Asian Theatre Journal is dedicated to the performing arts of Asia, focusing upon both traditional and modern theatrical forms. It aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge throughout the international theatrical community for the mutual benefit of all interested scholars and artists. It offers descriptive and analytical articles, original plays and play translations, book and audiovisual reviews, and reports of current theatrical activities in Asia.

Assessing Writing is a refereed international journal providing a forum for ideas, research and practice on the assessment of written language. Assessing Writing publishes articles, book reviews, conference reports, and academic exchanges concerning writing assessments of all kinds, including traditional ('direct' and standardised forms of) testing of writing, alternative performance assessments (such as portfolios), workplace sampling and classroom assessment. The journal focuses on all stages of the writing assessment process, including needs evaluation, assessment creation, implementation, and validation, and test development; it aims to value all perspectives on writing assessment as process, product and politics (test takers and raters; test developers and agencies; educational administrations; and political motivations). The journal is interested in review essays of key issues in the theory and practice of writing assessment.Assessing Writing embraces internationalism and will attempt to reflect the concerns of teachers, researchers and writing assessment specialists around the world, whatever their linguistic background. Articles are published in English and normally relate to the assessment of English language writing, but articles in English about the assessment of writing in languages other than English will be considered. While Assessing Writing frequently publishes articles about the assessment of writing in the fields of composition, writing across the curriculum, and TESOL (the teaching of English to speakers of other languages), it welcomes articles about the assessment of writing in professional and academic areas outside these fields.The scope of the journal is wide, and embraces all work in the field at all age levels, in large-scale (international, national and state) as well as classroom, educational and non-educational institutional contexts, writing and programme evaluation, writing and critical literacy, and the role of technology in the assessment of writing. Through this scholarly exchange, Assessing Writing contributes to the development of excellence in the assessment of writing in all contexts, and, in so doing, to the teaching and appreciation of writing.

Atlantic Studies provides an international forum for research and debate on historical, cultural and literary issues arising within the new disciplinary matrix of the circumatlantic world. In particular, it seeks to foster a transcultural dialogue between the two hemispheres and, specifically, among the nations of Europe, the Americas and Africa.The Journal aims to study the cartographic space of the Atlantic as it emerged in the early modern period, up to the present day: a highly critical space, centered not on a single nation or land mass but on a new cosmopolitan interchange of land and sea, ships and peoples, cultures and texts, ideas and tools.Published on behalf of MESEA (The Society for Multi-Ethnic Studies: Europe and the Americas), the Journal aims to be an important site for scholarship on the intercultural and transcultural perspective study of multi-ethnic cultures and societies. The Journal of the Spanish Association for Anglo-American Studies (AEDEAN) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal founded in 1979 and published twice a year in June and December. It publishes original research articles on linguistic, literary and cultural topics, past and present, of English-speaking communities, including pertinent cross-cultural comparative analyses. Book reviews are also accepted. The journal is open to academic advertising. In addition, Atlantis offers a forum for commentaries and interviews on matters of interest to its wide readership. In December 2004 Atlantis celebrated its Silver Jubilee.
