Acta Materialia provides a forum for publishing full-length, original papers and commissioned overviews which advance the in-depth understanding of the relationship between the processing, the structure and the properties of inorganic materials. Papers which have a high impact potential are sought. The structure encompasses atomic and molecular arrangements, chemical and electronic structures, and microstructure. Emphasis is on either the mechanical or functional behavior of inorganic solids at all length scales down to nanostructures. The following aspects of the science and engineering of inorganic materials are of particular interest:(i) Cutting-edge experiments and theory as they relate to the understanding of the properties,(ii) Simulation and modeling preferably combined with experimentation specifically as they relate to the understanding of the properties,(iii) Elucidation of the mechanisms involved in the synthesis and processing of materials specifically as they relate to the understanding of the properties, and(iv) Characterization of the structure and chemistry of materials specifically as it relates to the understanding of the properties.Short communications and comments to papers published in Acta Materialia may be submitted to Scripta Materialia.Benefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more. Publishes original research papers of the highest quality in all fields of mathematics. Acta Mathematica is a well established and highly respected international mathematics journal. It is published by the Institut Mittag-Leffler, a research institute of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. Two volumes consisting of two issues each are published annually.
Acta Mathematica Hungarica features papers covering most areas of mathematics and, in particular, from those whose work is related to the advances being made by Hungarian mathematicians. It publishes mainly pure mathematics, but occasionally papers of a more applied nature appear in the journal providing they have a non-trivial mathematical content. Acta Mathematica Hungarica (formerly Acta Mathematica Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae) was founded in 1950 by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. It is now established as an international journal of repute.
Acta Mathematica Scientia was founded by Prof. Li Guoping (Lee Kwok Ping) in April 1981.The aim of Acta Mathematica Scientia is to present to the specialized readers important new achievements in the areas of mathematical sciences. The journal considers for publication of original research papers in all areas related to the frontier branches of mathematics with other science and technology.Benefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more. Acta Mathematica Sinica, English Series is a monthly journal established by the Chinese Mathematical Society. The journal publishes significant research papers from all branches of pure and applied mathematics. It provides authoritative reviews of current developments in mathematical research. Contributions are invited from researchers all over the world.
Acta Mathematica Vietnamica publishes original papers of high level in pure and applied mathematics and aims to contribute to the interaction and cooperation among mathematicians from Vietnam and from other countries in the World.
Acta Mathematicae Applicatae Sinica (English Series) is a quarterly journal established by the Chinese Mathematical Society. The journal publishes high quality research papers from all branches of applied mathematics, including partial differential equations, computational mathematics, applied probability, mathematical finance, statistics, dynamical systems, and optimization and management science.
Since 1965, the international journal Acta Mechanica has been among the leading journals in the field of theoretical and applied mechanics. In addition to the fields of solid and fluid mechanics, such as elasticity, plasticity, vibrations, structures, multi-body dynamics, hydrodynamics, gasdynamics and multiphase flows, it also gives special attention to areas such as Non-Newtonian fluid dynamics, micro- and nanomechanics of fluids and solids, smart materials and structures, biomechanics of solids and fluids, and novel issues at the interface of mechanics and materials. The journal further publishes papers in such related fields as rheology, thermodynamics, and electromagnetic interactions with fluids and solids. In addition, articles in applied mathematics and control dealing with significant mechanics problems are also welcome. Acta Mechanica emphasizes originality in all aspects of theoretical, experimental, and computational mechanics that are of lasting value and of current interest. Acta Mechanica will
Acta Mechanica Sinica, sponsored by the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, promotes scientific exchanges and collaboration among Chinese scientists in China and abroad. It features high quality, original papers in all aspects of mechanics and mechanical sciences. Not only does the journal explore the classical subdivisions of theoretical and applied mechanics such as solid and fluid mechanics, it also explores recently emerging areas such as biomechanics and nanomechanics. In addition, the journal investigates analytical, computational, and experimental progresses in all areas of mechanics. Lastly, it encourages research in interdisciplinary subjects, serving as a bridge between mechanics and other branches of engineering and the sciences. In addition to research papers, Acta Mechanica Sinica publishes reviews, notes, experimental techniques, scientific events, and other special topics of interest.
Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica aims to become the best journal of solid mechanics in China and the known one in the world in the field of mechanics, by building up an international exchange platform for the ecological research; providing original, perspective and even breakthrough theories and methods for the research on solid mechanics in China and in the world; serving the sustainable development worldwide. The Journal is devoted to the publication of research papers in English in all fields of the solid-state mechanics and its related disciplines in science, technology, and engineering, with a balanced coverage on analytical, experimental, numerical and applied investigations. Articles, Letters, Discussions on previously published papers, and invitation-based Reviews are published bimonthly. No length limitations for regular and review articles are set. Letters (4 pages or less) that report novel theories, experimental and numerical findings, are usually published within three months after receipt. Papers which are merely methodological without showing essential advantages in applications, and papers which do not study deformable solids are out of the score of the Journal.Benefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more.
