FinELibin ja Elsevierin vuodelle 2026 solmiman sopimuksen perusteella vastaavat kirjoittajat voivat julkaista avoimia artikkeleita ilman APC-maksua (article processing charge) sopimuksen piiriin kuuluvissa Elsevierin hybridi- ja hybrideistä gold open access -lehdiksi muuttuneissa lehdissä.
Huom! Tutkijat voivat julkaista ilman APC-maksua sopimukseen kuuluvissa Freedom-lehdissä FinELibin sivuilla mainituilla ehdoilla 31.12.2026 asti.
Tutkijoille maksuttomien avointen artikkelien määrän arvioitiin loppuvan elokuun loppuun mennessä. Elsevier on poistanut avointen artikkelien kiintiön Freedom-lehdistä. Julkaisemisen ehtoihin ei ole tullut muutoksia.
Under the agreement for 2026 between FinELib and Elsevier, corresponding authors can publish open access articles without an APC (article processing charge) in eligible Elsevier hybrid journals and hybrid journals that have transitioned to gold open access.
Att! Researchers can publish without an APC fee in the Freedom journals covered by the agreement under the conditions stated in FinELib webpages until 31 December 2026.
The number of free open access articles available to researchers had been estimated to run out by the end of August. Elsevier has removed the quota for open access articles. No changes have been made to the publishing conditions.
