Crime, criminal law and criminal justice are more than ever on the political agenda of the European institutions, above all the European Union and the Council of Europe. This is not only because of the increasingly vehement debate on transnational crime problems in the individual Member States, but also as a consequence of the widening of the European Union and the drafting of an European Constitution, and last but not least because of the threat of terrorism.

The European Journal of Criminology is a refereed journal published by SAGE publications and the European Society of Criminology. It provides a forum for research and scholarship on crime and criminal justice institutions. The journal published high quality articles using varied approaches, including discussion of theory, analysis of quantitative data, comparative studies, systematic evaluation of interventions, and study of institutions of political process.

The European Journal of Cultural Studies is a major international, peer-reviewed journal that promotes a broad-ranging conception of cultural studies rooted in lived experience. The journal is an interdisciplinary platform for charting new questions and new research, publishing articles on topics including gendered identities, cultural citizenship, migration, post-colonial criticism, consumer cultures, media and film, and cultural policy.

The study of culture is the fastest growing area in both European and North American sociology. Political sociology is also re-establishing itself as a central plank of the discipline. The European Journal of Cultural and Political Sociology aims to be a forum not so much for these fields of study considered separately, as for any work seeking to explore the relationship between culture and politics through a sociological lens. It welcomes, thus, both considerations of cultural phenomena in relation to political context, work that situates political phenomena within a cultural framework, and all points between these poles. In so doing it seeks both to address matters of immediate concern and to recover the broad sociological sensibility that was once a staple of the classical tradition.

All manuscript submissions are subject to initial appraisal by the Editors, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees.

The aim of the European Journal of Dental Education is to publish original, topical and review articles of the highest quality in the field of Dental Education. The Journal seeks to disseminate widely the latest information on curriculum development, teaching methodologies, assessment techniques and quality assurance in the fields of dental undergraduate and postgraduate education and dental auxiliary personnel training. The scope includes the dental educational aspects of the basic medical sciences, the behavioural sciences, the interface with medical education, information technology and distance learning and educational audit. Papers embodying the results of high-quality educational research of relevance to dentistry are particularly encouraged as are evidence-based reports of novel and established educational programmes and their outcomes. The European Journal of Dental Education is the official journal of the Association for Dental Education in Europe. Whilst the Journal focuses on the European experience, its relevance is global and contributions are invited on a worldwide basis. One volume of four issues is published annually.

The European Journal of Dermatology is an internationally renowned journal for dermatologists and scientists involved in clinical dermatology and skin biology.Original articles on clinical dermatology, skin biology, immunology and cell biology are published, along with review articles, which offer readers a broader view of the available literature. Each issue also has an important correspondence section, which contains brief clinical and investigative reports and letters concerning articles previously published in the EJD.The policy of the EJD is to bring together a large network of specialists from all over the world through a series of editorial offices in France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.The European Journal of Dermatology is indexed in Medline and the Current Contents and the continually improving Impact Factor is evidence of its high quality and international recognition.The online version of European Journal of Dermatology is now available to both readers and authors. Special Issue Call For Papers: Cyberbullying: Definition, Measurement, Correlates and Development The European Journal of Developmental Psychology is an official publication of the European Society for Developmental Psychology. It publishes innovative original theoretical, empirical, methodological and review papers dealing with psychological development and developmental psychopathology during infancy, childhood and adolescence. It also publishes papers on social policy based on developmental science and which are relevant to education, health or well-being in infancy, childhood and adolescence. It is keen to receive papers relevant to European developmental psychology in that they take account of topics such as European history, European policy or cultural diversity and their relevance to developmental matters. The journal aims to cover the areas of cognitive and social development and the development of the person (self, identity and personality) and to do so from a disciplinary and/or an interdisciplinary perspective. The European Journal of Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics addresses all aspects of pre-clinical and clinical pharmacokinetics, including drug disposition, drug metabolism, drug transport, drug interactions, bioavailability and biopharmacy. The journal welcomes publications in the field of pharmacokinetic modeling. Analytical methods validation and bioequivalence studies will not be considered for publication. The journal publishes original articles, short preliminary communications, review articles on special topics, and conference proceedings.The European Journal of Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics publishes four issues a year.

European Journal of East Asian Studies is a multi-disciplinary journal dedicated to East Asia, one of the most varied, complex, and rapidly changing parts of the world. Published in Europe by European specialists, the journal is open to new ideas and findings from wherever they may come. We welcome the submission of manuscripts in social sciences such as political science, economics, sociology and cultural studies (including but not limited to business studies, development studies, international relations, political economy,...). Articles can address the wider East Asian region (China, Japan, Korean Peninsular, Japan, Mongolia), including Southeast Asia (ASEAN countries but not Oceania/South Pacific). They may also study inter-regional relations involving the Asian region (such as Asia-Europe relations for instance), or sub-regions (such as Southeast Asia for example) and individual East Asian countries. The journal covers both 20th and 21st centuries with a clear contemporary focus.

The European Journal of Economics and Economic Policies: Intervention (EJEEP) is a peer-reviewed journal which serves as a forum for studies in macroeconomic theory, economic institutions and economic policies. The managing editors aim for productive debates involving one or more variants of heterodox economics, and invite contributions acknowledging the pluralism of research approaches. The submission of both theoretical and empirical work is encouraged. The managing editors contend that a wide variety of institutional and social factors shape economic life and economic processes. Only a careful study and integration of such factors into economics will lead to theoretical progress and to competent economic policy recommendations. This was clearly demonstrated by the inadequacy of orthodox economics, based on neoclassical foundations, to provide suitable explanations and responses to recent financial and economic crises.

The European Journal of Education and Psychology (http://www.elsevier.es/ejepwww.elsevier.es/ejep) is a biannual (June and December) multidisciplinary publication in Education and Psychology. It is open to empirical contributions communicating the results of research as well as theoretical reviews which in the opinion of the Editorial Committee, are deemed to be of interest to the scientific community, in any of the fields of study in Education and/or Psychology. Manuscripts may be submitted in either Spanish or English.

The European Journal of Education is an international, peer reviewed journal that presents high quality, recent research and policy analysis with a primary focus on Europe, placed in an international perspective. The Journal publishes the results of European research projects and explores key topics of concern to policy makers and international organisations in Europe and further afield. The Editorial Board brings together academics and policy analysts from different European countries and major international organisations. There is also a network of distinguished Editorial Correspondents who advise the Joint Editors and the Board. The European Journal of Education is now indexed by Thomson ISI and has received an impact factor since 2010. With European comparative perspective, the European Journal of Education provides brokerage between research and policy communities, covering a range of thematic areas, addressing influential stakeholders and leaders. Evidence-based public policy is a growing area that needs well-researched, appropriate evidence that refers to a set of values. The main aims of the European Journal of Education are to: • contribute to the policy debate at the national and European level by providing European administrators and policy-makers in international organisations, national and local governments with comparative and up-to-date material centred on specific themes of common interest. • examine, compare and assess education policies, trends, reforms and programmes of European countries in an international perspective. • disseminate policy debates and research results to a wide audience of academics, researchers, practitioners and students of education sciences. EJE is a thematic journal. Part I of each issue contains 5 to 8 articles around a selected theme presenting a range of perspectives and research on the topic under analysis and the key issues for future research and policy. The Guest Editors are acknowledged experts in their field. Themes are identified by the board; they come from European-funded research projects or are based on conferences and seminars. They are proposed by board members, editorial correspondents or other colleagues from all over Europe. Part II contains articles on other themes that have been submitted for publication and peer reviewed. EJE is the only European journal publishing about education matters that covers a broad spectrum in education, aiming to build bridges between research and policy and to address issues of concern to the different levels and types of education, transversal topics and ‘big issues’ for policy agendas. This includes an active and on-going discussion of EU education policy. The Journal welcomes cross-disciplinary approaches within the education sector and with other sectors. The Journal actively seeks to partner with organisations (e.g. universities, foundations, international organisations) with a view to organising seminars on topical or futures themes that make it possible to bring together an international network of people from academia, policy, government, international organisations, foundations, education providers, etc. The readership is mainly composed of academics, policy analysts, students of education sciences, teachers (HE, school, VET, adult learning), project and programme managers and action-researchers, international organisations.
