The International Journal of Green Nanotechnology is a unique open access journal addressing important challenges and latest advances in the chemistry, physics, biology, engineering, and other scientific aspects of green nanotechnology as well as on their societal impact and the policies that have been or should be developed to address them. It has three primary foci: biomedicine, materials science and engineering, and physics and chemistry. This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Launched in 1990, the International Journal of High Speed Electronics and Systems (IJHSES) has served graduate students and those in R&D, managerial and marketing positions by giving state-of-the-art data, and the latest research trends. Its main charter is to promote engineering education by advancing interdisciplinary science between electronics and systems and to explore high speed technology in photonics and electronics. IJHSES, a quarterly journal, continues to feature a broad coverage of topics relating to high speed or high performance devices, circuits and systems. Papers published will cover:

Announcement Starting in 2010, the International Journal of Imaging Systems and Technology will be focusing on the field of Neuroscience in a broad sense, including relevant algorithmic research and hardware and software development. Accordingly, the title will be changed to International Journal of Imaging Systems and Technology -Neuroimaging and Brain Mapping.

International Journal of Industrial Chemistry (IJIC) is a peer-reviewed open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen. It is fully supported by the Islamic Azad University, who provide funds to cover all costs of publication, including the Article Processing Charges (APC’s) for all authors. Therefore the journal is both free to read and free to publish in.International Journal of Industrial Chemistry brings together multidisciplinary interests in one journal and is to disseminate information on all aspects of research and development in chemistry as well as industrial and engineering chemistry. Contributions in the form of research articles and short communications are considered for publication. The International Journal of Material Forming is the official Journal of the European Scientific Association for material FORMing (ESAFORM) (www.esaform.org). The aims of the Journal are the publication and the dissemination of original research in the field of material forming. The scope of the Journal is to establish a platform of communication between engineers and scientists, covering all forming processes, including sheet forming, bulk forming, powder forming, forming in melt or near-melt conditions (casting, injection, extrusion, film blowing etc.), machining and cutting technologies, non-traditional processes such as abrasive jet, laser or ultrasonic abrasion, rapid prototyping and rapid tooling, micro-forming, hydro-forming, thermo-forming, incremental forming etc. The contributions in the field of tools design, manufacturing and control, process chains, virtual manufacturing and quality assurance in material forming are also welcome. IJMatEI highlights research and development into recent advances in composites, ceramics, functionally graded materials, cellular materials and ecomaterials. It covers all aspects of modern materials engineering, including preparation and processing, relationships between structure (nano/micro) and properties (physical, chemical, mechanical, thermal, electrical and magnetic), as well as performance and technological applications for advanced industry. New concepts for preparing, assembling and functionalisation of materials inspired by nature, or radically new approaches to improve existing processes and reliability of materials, are encouraged.

The IJMPT aims to address issues of interest to all industrialists and researchers concerned with new materials, new processes and new products.

IJMSI provides multidisciplinary approaches, either empirical or theoretical, to the study of materials and structural integrity. Its goals are to promote cross-fertilization of ideas between all the scientific disciplines having to deal with their own materials and structural integrity, including engineering, bionics, physics and chemistry. The journal encourages submission of new fundamental and interdisciplinary contributions on materials and structural integrity.

The International Journal of Mechanical Sciences (IJMS) is an international forum for the publication and dissemination of original work which contributes to greater scientific understanding of the main disciplines underpinning the mechanical, civil and material engineering sciences.Original contributions providing insight into the use of analytical, computational (e.g. FEM, BEM, mesh-free methods and others) modelling methods for rigid-body mechanics (e.g. dynamics, vibration, stability), structural mechanics, metal forming, behaviour and application of advanced materials (metals, composite, cellular, smart etc.), impact mechanics, strain localization and other effects of nonlinearity (e.g. large deflections, plasticity, fracture etc.), fluid mechanics (external and internal flows), tribology, thermodynamics and materials processing generally form the core of the journal contents.The International Journal of Mechanical Sciences does not accept for publication material which quite specifically belongs with other established specialist journals. Papers whose concern is primarily with mathematical or computational techniques, developed within a general framework and not aimed at any specific engineering application, are not requested. Similarly, papers whose content is purely descriptive or empirical and which do not make any scientific contribution, will not be considered. Comparison with experiments/tests conducted by the authors or others to validate the main contribution of the paper are strongly encouraged, however design-based studies, based on established formulae and methods, are outside our scope and should not be submitted to the International Journal of Mechanical Sciences.Only original, innovative and novel papers will be considered for publication in the International Journal of Mechanical Sciences and before considering their work, authors are required to confirm that their paper has not been submitted to any other journal in English or any other language. Occasionally, 'Letters to the Editor' are considered.

The International Journal of Mechanics and Materials in Design features recent advances and original works in mechanics and materials engineering and their impact on the design process. The journal enables mechanical, aeronautical, civil, automotive, biomedical, chemical, and nuclear engineers as well as other researchers and scientists to stay abreast of the latest developments. Moreover, it enables them to exchange ideas concerning the use of mechanics and materials in design. Among the topics readers will discover are intelligent design, advanced materials in design, design analysis and optimization, experimental mechanics in design, and design case studies. These topics and more are explored in an integrated, highly focused and coherent format.

IJMEI promotes an understanding of the structural/functional aspects of disease mechanisms and the application of technology towards the treatment/management of such diseases. It seeks to promote interdisciplinary collaboration between those interested in the theoretical and clinical aspects of medicine and to foster the application of computers and mathematics to problems arising from medical sciences. IJMEI includes authoritative review papers, the reporting of original research, and evaluation reports of new/existing techniques and devices. Each issue also contains a comprehensive information service.

Pure metals and metal-based materials form the backbone of engineering and biomedical sectors in context of end products. In terms of properties, they bridge the gap between that of polymers and ceramics and hence have created a niche for themselves over many centuries. International Journal of Minerals, Metallurgy and Materials (formerly known as Journal of University of Science and Technology Beijing) is an international journal devoted to publishing original research articles (and occasional invited reviews) on all aspects of minerals processing, physical metallurgy, process metallurgy, and materials science and processing. Coverage is well-rounded from minerals characterization and developments in extraction to the fabrication and performance of materials. The journal welcomes articles on the relationships among the processing, structure and properties of minerals, metals, and materials. Specific areas of interest are nano materials, new metallic materials, advanced ceramics, metallic matrix composites, functional materials and more.

The International Journal of Nanomedicine is an international, peer-reviewed journal focusing on the application of nanotechnology in diagnostics, therapeutics, and drug delivery systems throughout the biomedical field. Reflecting the growing activity in this emerging specialty, the aim of this journal is to highlight research and development leading to potential clinical applications in the prevention and treatment of disease.
