Under the agreement for 2026 between FinELib and Elsevier, corresponding authors can publish open access articles without an APC (article processing charge) in eligible Elsevier hybrid journals and hybrid journals that have transitioned to gold open access. FinELib consortium’s agreement with Springer Nature for the years 2026-2027 includes open access publishing for corresponding authors in Springer's hybrid titles in Compact collection without extra charge during the agreement term. Additionally publishing is possible in titles included in the list that transitioned from hybrid to fully OA during the previous agreement term or do so during the current agreement term.

Koska avoimia artikkeleita on käytettävissä rajallinen määrä, on mahdollista, että artikkelikiintiö loppuu elo-syyskuun 2026 aikana, jonka jälkeen hyväksyttyjä artikkeleita ei välttämättä voida avata osana FinELib-sopimusta.
Under the agreement for 2026 between FinELib and Elsevier, corresponding authors can publish open access articles without an APC (article processing charge) in eligible Elsevier hybrid journals and hybrid journals that have transitioned to gold open access. Att! Since there is a limited number of free open access articles available it is possible that the article quota is exhausted in August or September 2026.
