The Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering provides a global forum for the dissemination of research in chemical engineering. The Journal publishes significant research results obtained in the Asia-Pacific region, and simultaneously introduces recent technical progress made in other areas of the world to this region. Submitted research papers must be of potential industrial significance and specifically concerned with chemical engineering. The editors will give preference to papers having a clearly stated practical scope and applicability in the areas of chemical engineering, and to those where new theoretical concepts are supported by new experimental details. The Journal also regularly publishes featured reviews on emerging and industrially important subjects of chemical engineering as well as selected papers presented at international conferences on the subjects.
Kybernetes is an important forum for the exchange of knowledge and information among all those who are interested in cybernetics and systems thinking.
Lab on a Chip provides a unique forum for the publication of significant and original work related to miniaturisation, at the micro- and nano-scale, of interest to a multidisciplinary readership. The journal seeks to publish work at the interface between physical technological advancements and high impact applications that are of direct interest to a broad audience. Topics include but are not limited to novel micro- and nano-technologies and fundamental principles or significant biological, chemical, medical, environmental and energy applications. • Micro- and nano-fabrication • Micro- and nano-fluidics in continuous and segmented multiphase flow, droplet microfluidics, new liquids • Micro- and nano-systems • Micro- and nano-separation technologies • Micro- and nano-total analysis system (µTAS, nTAS) • Digital microfluidics • Sample preparation • Imaging and detection • Nucleic acid biotechnology and analysis • Protein analysis (proteomics and metabolomics for targeted and global analysis) • Medical diagnostics • Medical devices and treatments • Drug development • Cells, tissues, organs on chip and integrated tissue engineering • 3D cell culture • Single cell analysis • Cell and organism motility and interactions • Systems and synthetic biology and medicine • Energy, biofuels, fuel extraction • Environmental and food monitoring for health and security
The mission of landscape architecture is supported by research and theory in many fields. Landscape Journal offers in-depth exploration of ideas and challenges that are central to contemporary design, planning, and teaching. Besides scholarly features, Landscape Journal also includes editorial columns, creative work, reviews of books, conferences, technology, and exhibitions Landscape Journal digs deeper into the field by providing articles from: landscape architects geographers architects planners artists historians ecologists poets
As catastrophic events, landslides can cause human injury, loss of life and economic devastation, and destroy construction works and cultural and natural heritage. The journal Landslides is the common platform for publication of integrated research on all aspects of landslides. The journal publishes research papers, news of recent landslide events and information on the activities of the International Consortium on Landslides. Coverage includes landslide dynamics, mechanisms and processes; volcanic, urban, marine and reservoir landslides; related tsunamis and seiches; hazard assessment and mapping; modeling, monitoring, GIS techniques; remedial or preventive measures; early warning and evacuation and a global landslide database. Landslides has been accepted at Thompson ISI for coverage in Science Citation Index Expanded, Current Contents/Physical Chemical and Earth Sciences and Current Contents/Engineering Computing and Technology.
