Journal of Electromyography & Kinesiology is the primary source for outstanding original articles on the study of human movement from muscle contraction via its motor units and sensory system to integrated motion through mechanical and electrical detection techniques.As the official publication of the International Society of Electrophysiology and Kinesiology, the journal is dedicated to publishing the best work in all areas of electromyography and kinesiology, including: control of movement, muscle fatigue, muscle and nerve properties, joint biomechanics and electrical stimulation. Applications in rehabilitation, sports & exercise, motion analysis, ergonomics, alternative & complimentary medicine, measures of human performance and technical articles on electromyographic signal processing are welcome.Review articles should be discussed with the editor in chief before submission. Clinical articles assessing patients with different deficiencies are considered based on their originality and scientific merit while case studies are excluded.

The journal has the aim of disseminating knowledge of static electricity in its fundamental aspects, its useful applications and in its hazardous nature. The Journal of Evolutionary Biochemistry and Physiology (Zhurnal Evolyutsionnoi Biokhimii i Fiziologii) publishes experimental and theoretical papers, reviews and information about the problems concerning evolution of the main forms of metabolism in connection with life origin; about comparative and ontogenetic physiology and biochemistry; biochemical evolution of animal world and papers connected with the problem of evolution of functions and on morphology, pharmacology, pathophysiology and ecological physiology.

The Journal of Experimental Botany publishes high-quality primary research and review papers in the plant sciences. These papers cover a range of disciplines from molecular and cellular physiology and biochemistry through whole plant physiology to community physiology.Full-length primary papers should contribute to our understanding of how plants develop and function, and should provide new insights into biological processes. The journal will not publish purely descriptive papers or papers that report a well-known process in a species in which the process has not been identified previously. Articles should be concise and generally limited to 10 printed pages.JXB publishes Review Articles on a regular basis. JXB reviews should be scholarly articles; Not only should they summarise relevant information, but they should add value to current knowledge through constructive academic criticism, informed insight or well considered foresight. Review authors are encouraged to use illustrations, particularly if such illustrations could become useful teaching aids or research models. Reviews should generally not include previously unpublished data. All review articles pass through the same refereeing process as regular articles and the response time to first decision can be expected to match the journal’s target of 28 days.The Reviews Editor welcomes offers of review articles in any area of plant science. Authors are encouraged to send a brief outline of the article to the Reviews Editor for consideration before preparation of a full manuscript. Reviews are also commissioned, often as collections which may be associated with scientific meetings, and published as Special issues. Smaller collections form Focus Sections in regular volumes of the journal.Opinion papers that express a particular point of view on a controversial topic relevant to any aspect of plant science are also considered. The journal is devoted to the rapid publication of innovative preclinical investigations on therapeutic agents against cancer and pertinent findings of experimental and clinical oncology. In the journal you will find review articles, original articles, and short communications on all areas of cancer research, including but not limited to preclinical experimental therapeutics; anticancer drug development; cancer biochemistry; biotechnology; carcinogenesis; cancer cytogenetics; clinical oncology; cytokine biology; epidemiology; molecular biology; pathology; pharmacology; tumor cell biology; and experimental oncology. Papers concerning work on humans must comply with the principles of the declaration of Helsinki (1964). The approval of an ethical committee must then be stated on the manuscript. The editors reserve the right to reject a paper with questionable ethical justification.

The Journal of Experimental Zoology Part A: Ecological Genetics and Physiology publishes articles at the three-way interface between Physiology, Ecology and Evolutionary Genetics. Contributions that help to elucidate how molecular, functional and ecological variation relate to one another are particularly welcome. The Journal publishes original research in the form of rapid communications or regular research articles, as well as perspectives and reviews on topics pertaining to the scope of the Journal. Acceptable articles are not limited to studies on animals, but also include research on plants and microbes.

MOLECULAR AND DEVELOPMENTAL EVOLUTION (MDE) welcomes papers that contribute to a causal understanding of the evolution of development and how development influences patterns of molecular and phenotypic evolution. Papers that take diverse disciplinary approaches, including developmental, molecular, genetic, evolutionary, systematic, ecological, and paleontological, will be published. MDE seeks research articles without page restriction or charges, review articles, invited commentaries, and book reviews. The Editor-in-Chief has discretion over the use of a number of free color plates. Only color illustrations that highlight the text and convey essential scientific information will be considered for reproduction free of charge, subject to the recommendations of the reviewers and Associate Editors.

Journal of Fluorescence is an international forum for peer-reviewed original articles that advance the practice of this established spectroscopic technique. Coverage includes advances in theory and data analysis, studies of the photophysics of aromatic molecules, solvent, and environmental effects, advances in fluorescence microscopy, imaging, photobleaching, and phosphorescence for studies of cell biology, chemical biology and the advanced uses of fluorescence in flow cytometry analysis, immunology, high throughput screening and drug discovery, DNA sequencing and arrays, genomics and proteomics. The Journal of Fluorine Chemistry contains reviews, original papers and short communications. The journal covers all aspects of pure and applied research on the chemistry as well as on the applications of fluorine, and of compounds or materials where fluorine exercises significant effects. This can include all chemistry research areas (inorganic, organic, organometallic, macromolecular and physical chemistry) but also includes papers on biological/biochemical related aspects of Fluorine chemistry as well as medicinal, agrochemical and pharmacological research. It is devoted to the publication of original investigations, observations, scholarly inquiries, and reviews in the various branches of the forensic sciences. These include Pathology and Biology, Toxicology, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, General, Odontology, Physical Anthropology, Jurisprudence, Criminalistics, Questioned Documents, Engineering Sciences, and Digital & Media Sciences. Similar submissions dealing with forensic-oriented aspects of the social science are also published. All papers are peer-reviewed. As papers clear the peer review and editorial processes, they will be included in this electronic version of the journal.
