‘Advances in Medical Sciences’ is the official Journal of the Medical University of Bialystok (Poland). Our Journal was founded in 1955 and it was originally entitled ‘Roczniki Akademii Medycznej w Bialymstoku – Annales Academiae Medicae Bialostocensis’. In 2006 the title was changed to ‘Advances in Medical Sciences’. .

FinELibin ja Elsevierin vuodelle 2026 solmiman sopimuksen perusteella vastaavat kirjoittajat voivat julkaista avoimia artikkeleita ilman APC-maksua (article processing charge) sopimuksen piiriin kuuluvissa Elsevierin hybridi- ja hybrideistä gold open access -lehdiksi muuttuneissa lehdissä. Huom! Koska avoimia artikkeleita on käytettävissä rajallinen määrä, on mahdollista, että artikkelikiintiö loppuu elo-syyskuun 2026 aikana, jonka jälkeen hyväksyttyjä artikkeleita ei välttämättä voida avata osana FinELib-sopimusta.Under the agreement for 2026 between FinELib and Elsevier, corresponding authors can publish open access articles without an APC (article processing charge) in eligible Elsevier hybrid journals and hybrid journals that have transitioned to gold open access. Att! Since there is a limited number of free open access articles available it is possible that the article quota is exhausted in August or September 2026.
