Journal of Circadian Rhythms is ready to receive manuscripts on all aspects of circadian and nycthemeral rhythms in living organisms.

The Journal of Cognition, the official journal of the European Society for Cognitive Psychology, publishes reviews, empirical articles (including registered reports), data reports, stimulus development reports, comments, and methodological notes relevant to all areas of cognitive psychology, including attention, memory, perception, psycholinguistics, and reasoning. We also publish cross-disciplinary research if we judge that it has clear implications for development of cognitive psychological theories. As a signatory of the Center for Open Science's Transparency and Openness Promotion guidelines, we value methodological rigour and transparent scientific practices. We welcome submissions from scholars working anywhere in the world.

MaHKUscript. Journal of Fine Art Research is a peer-reviewed international platform for artists, curators, theorists, research students and educators who consciously integrate research in their working practice.

Metaphysics is an open-access, peer-reviewed online journal publishing current research in the field of metaphysics. It is established and administered by the Canadian Metaphysics Collaborative, an organization founded in Canada in 2015 whose purpose is to facilitate collaboration among Canadian and Canadian-affiliated metaphysicians. The journal publishes up to fifteen articles per year on the topics of contemporary metaphysics and the history of metaphysics on thematic topics that engage with the Aristotelian and neo-Aristotelian traditions. The Methodist DeBakey Cardiovascular Journal (MDCVJ) supports the educational mission of Houston Methodist DeBakey CV Education by empowering the next generation of heart and vascular specialists to gain knowledge and stay informed on best practices, clinical treatments, and promising research in cardiovascular medicine. Each peer-reviewed issue publishes thematic curated reviews describing the current state of relevant and timely cardiovascular topics. The Open Journal of Bioresources (OJB) features peer-reviewed short papers helping researchers to locate and cite bioresources with high reuse potential.

Making bioresources more openly discoverable has enormous benefits not only for the research community and the wider public, but for the producers of the bioresources as well. Both the resources and the OJB papers are citable and this will be tracked to provide authors with metrics on reuse and impact.

Open Quaternary is a fully open access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal, publishing contributions that consider the changing environment of the Quaternary as well as the development of humanity.

The journal focuses on all aspects of the Quaternary. This scope is intentionally broad, and covers a range of specialisms such as geomorphology, palaeoclimatology, palaeobotany, palynology, palaeontology, zooarchaeology, geoarchaeology, biological anthropology and Palaeolithic archaeology.

The Open Quaternary site has received around 60,000 page views since its launch in March 2015, with the most accessed publication currently having been viewed/downloaded over 11,000 times. All publications are widely indexed for enhanced dissemination and findability. Average submission to publication times are currently around 140 days.

Physical Activity and Health is a fundamentally new kind of journal.
