Contemporary Clinical Trials is an international peer reviewed journal that publishes manuscripts pertaining to all aspects of clinical trials, including, but not limited to, design, conduct, analysis, regulation and ethics. Manuscripts submitted should appeal to a readership drawn from disciplines including medicine, biostatistics, epidemiology, computer science, management science, behavioural science, pharmaceutical science, and bioethics. Full-length papers and short communications not exceeding 1,500 words, as well as systemic reviews of clinical trials and methodologies will be published. First published in 1982 as Contemporary Policy Issues, Contemporary Economic Policy publishes scholarly economic research and analysis on issues of vital concern to economists, government, business, and other decision makers. Leading western scholars, including three Nobel laureates, are among CEP's authors. The objectives are to communicate results of high quality economic analysis to policymakers, focus high quality research and analysis on current policy issues of widespread concern, increase knowledge among economists of features of the economy key to understanding the impact of policy, and to advance methods of policy analysis. Contemporary Educational Psychology publishes articles that involve the application of psychological theory and science to the educational process. Of particular relevance are descriptions of empirical research and the presentation of theory designed to either explicate or enhance the educational process. The journal places great value on the quality of research methodology. This includes the participant sample being representative of the intended population (and not just a sample of convenience), measures having demonstrated psychometric quality including both reliability and validity (avoiding, for example, excessive reliance on self-report measures), literature reviews that support the methods employed, and analyses that are both appropriate and accurately described. The journal publishes quantitative, qualitative, and single-subject design studies that involve the application of psychological science to an important educational process, issue, or problem.The journal does not limit its scope to any age range. Articles dealing with the education of preschoolers, K-12 children, adults, and the elderly are all relevant if they apply psychological theory and science to the process of education. Likewise, articles that make a substantial contribution to the understanding of individual differences in the process of learning are also appropriate. The journal does not focus on a particular educational setting. Contemporary Family Therapy: An International Journal (COFT) is a quarterly, peer-reviewed publication that presents the latest developments in practice, theory, research, and training in family and couple therapy. Embracing international and multidisciplinary perspectives, COFT publishes applied and basic research with implications for theory, treatment, and policy. The overall goal is to understand couple and family functioning within their broader social contexts and throughout a multiplicity of forms.
