The field of computer virus prevention has rapidly taken an important position in our technological and information society. Viral attacks increase year after year, and antiviral efforts continually face new challenges. Beneficial applications of technologies based on scientific computer virology are still very limited. The theoretical aspects of the virus problem are only rarely considered, although many interesting and important open problems still exist. Little proactive research is focused on predicting the future of viral attacks. The Journal in Computer Virology is an independent scientific and technical journal dedicated to viral and antiviral computer technologies. Both theoretical and experimental aspects will be considered; papers emphasizing the theoretical aspects are especially welcome. The topics covered by this journal include, but are certainly not limited to: - Mathematical aspects and theoretical fundamentals of computer virology - Algorithmics and computer virology - Computer immunology and biological models for computers - Reverse engineering - Viral technologies - Antiviral technologies - Cryptologic techniques and tools in computer virology - Steganographic techniques and tools in computer virology - Applications in computer virology - Virology and IDS In addition, since computational problems are of practical interest, papers on the computational aspects of computer virology are welcome. It is expected that the areas covered by this journal will change as new technologies, methodologies, challenges and applications develop. The aim of the Journal in Computer Virology is to promote constructive research in computer virology by publishing technical and scientific results related to this research area. Submitted papers will be judged primarily by their content, their originality and their technical and scientific quality. Contributions should comprise novel and previousl, y unpublished material. However, prior publication in conference proceedings of an abstract, summary, or other abbreviated, preliminary form of the material should not preclude publication in this journal when notice of such prior or concurrent publication is given with the submission. In addition to full-length theoretical and technical articles, short communications or notes are acceptable. Survey papers will be accepted with a prior invitation only. Special issues devoted to a single topic are also planned. The policy of the journal is to maintain strict referring procedures, to perform a high quality peer-review of each submitted paper, and to send notification to the author(s) with as short a delay as possible. Accepted papers will normally be published within one year of submission at the latest. The journal will be published four times a year. Every submitted paper will be anonymously peer-reviewed according to the following rules: - Invited paper with board member as (co)author: at least one reviewer, - Regular paper with no board member as (co)author: three reviewers, - Regular papers with board member as (co)author: four reviewers. Note: As far as new viral techniques are concerned, the journal strongly encourages authors to consider algorithmic aspects rather than the actual source code of a particular virus. Nonetheless, papers containing illustrative excerpts of viral source codes may be accepted provided that a scientific approach is maintained and that inclusion of these excerpts is strictly necessary for the presentation of the research. No paper containing a complete viral source code will be considered or accepted. The final objective is, once again, proactive defence. A prize of 500 euros will be awarded to the best paper every year. The journal will be published by Springer France.

Zielsetzung der Zeitschrift Das Journal für Ästhetische Chirurgie bietet aktuelle Fortbildung für Fachärzte der Chirurgie, Dermatologie, Gynäkologie, HNO-Heilkunde, MKG-Chirurgie, Ophthalmologie und Plastischen Chirurgie in Praxis und Klinik. Inhaltlich werden wissenschaftliche und praktische Erkenntnisse und Erfahrungen der ästhetischen Chirurgie interdisziplinär dargestellt und vermittelt. Im Vordergrund stehen Beschreibungen etablierter chirurgischer Techniken, Kasuistiken und Operationsplanung und -management. Frei eingereichte Originalarbeiten ermöglichen die Präsentation wichtiger klinischer Studien und dienen dem wissenschaftlichen Austausch. Umfassende Übersichtsarbeiten sind das Kernstück jeder Ausgabe. Im Mittelpunkt steht gesichertes Wissen zur Operationsplanung und Durchführung mit hoher Relevanz für die tägliche Arbeit und Sicherheit des Patienten. Aims & Scope The Journal für Ästhetische Chirurgie (Journal of Aesthetic Surgery) provides state-of-the-art further education for all practitioners working in the field of Surgery, Dermatology, Gynecologists, ENT, OMS, Ophthalmology and Plastic Surgery in both practical and clinical environments. The contents cover all areas of applied Aesthetic Surgery from a practical point of view. The focus is on topics relevant to the safe and effective practice of aesthetic surgery, descriptions of clinical techniques, case reports and operation management. The journal includes important research and techniques in reconstructive surgical procedures having a significant aesthetic component.  The Journal of Bioeconomics is devoted to creative interdisciplinary dialogues between biologists and economists. It promotes the mutual exchange of theories, methods, and data where biology can help explaining economic behavior and the nature of the human economy: and where economics is conducive to understanding the economy of nature. The Journal invites contributions relevant to the bioeconomic agenda from economic fields such as behavioral economics, biometric studies, neuroeconomics, consumer studies, ecological economics, evolutionary economics, evolutionary game theory, political economy, and ethnicity studies. The Journal of Biorheology, the official journal of the Japanese Society of Biorheology, is an international journal covering the science and application of the deformation and flow properties of biological materials, including food materials. The aim of the journal is to provide a peer-reviewed forum for the publication of original papers and authoritative review papers dealing with the dynamics of physiological processes at all levels of organization, from organs to the molecular level. The scope of the journal covers the basic science and its applications in the broad field of biorheology: the rheology of macromolecules, cell rheology, tissue and organ rheology, and food rheology. The Journal of Biorheology accepts original articles, brief communications, and review articles. The editors encourage the submission of biorheological analysis of pathological processes and their clinical implications, including basic clinical research on hemodynamics and hemorheology. Also highly welcome are translational clinical studies and scientific research between the fields of engineering and medicine.

Chemical Biology is a novel interdisciplinary subject that is still evolving. Interpreting chemical biology as widely as possible, the 'Journal of Chemical Biology' (JOCB) will be open towards the whole spectrum of physical sciences research if it is applied to foster biomedical research. This will include innovative theoretical and experimental approaches and tools being applied to elucidate biological problems. Chemical Biology is not a synonym for Biological chemistry/Biochemistry, the latter being served by a plethora of life sciences journals, where well-established tools and techniques drawn from the physical sciences are employed to produce innovative biological research. The main acceptance criteria are therefore: the novelty/innovation in the physical sciences part of the presented interdisciplinary research and/or its application in biological research. Manuscripts are expected to convey their research in a fashion that allows both research communities to appreciate its significance and achievements. Thus, experts drawn from the life as well as the physical sciences background referee all manuscripts. The journal is keen to attract articles on novel innovations and discoveries in the physical sciences that can be applied in the cellular environment (in vivo). Important discoveries that have not yet reached the necessary proof for their biological relevance will be presented as short communications. Reviews and opinion papers as well as articles and short communications that present original multidisciplinary research with a clear applicability towards the life sciences are welcome. JOCB also invites to submit these research advances of interesting tools and technology developmentsthat are not yet applicable towards biological problems as 'notes'. Being an interdisciplinary journal we would like to encourage reviews on interdisciplinary subjects from authors affiliated with both disciplines as well as investigators affiliated in one disc, ipline with the desire to become engaged in this new interdisciplinary research area. The 'Journal of Chemical Biology' endeavors to create a platform for multidisciplinary physical scientists to publish their achievements, retrieve information, and exchange ideas, opinions and thoughts with the biomedical research community. The latter is addressed in the 'Journal of Chemical Biology Bulletin', which is published with each issue and will contain information that is relevant for the chemical biology research community. This includes book reviews, meeting reports and announcements as well as information on chemical biology studies and education. The Journal of Coal Science and Engineering (China) is a comprehensive academic journal sponsored by the China Coal Society and organized by the China Coal Research Institute.
